Anneli is a member of Team DiscSport in Estonia and bags Innova and Discmania discs. She has playing solidly for 3 years.
Her first disc was a Ken Climo Champion Eagle that ended up in some fjord in Norway.
During the summertime she plays or practices almost everyday. Come winter she trains indoors to keep in shape.
Greatest achievement to date is winning the 2018 Estonian Disc golf association cup, 2nd place at the Baltic disc golf Championships, 3rd in the Estonian Winter Championship and 1st place FPO national doubles.

How did you get into disc golf and how long have you been playing?
As always, there is some friend or acquaintance who play and it’s very easy to start throwing also. I started in summer of 2015
What is your dominant hand?
Right backhand
Are you Backhand or forehand dominate?
Backhand, but i started fully with forehand.
What was the first disc you threw and where is it now?
My first disc was Ken Climo Champion Eagle. Right now it’s in some fjord in Norway..
You’re on the first hole at your local course, what disc do you reach for?
My flippy PRO destroyer
What is your favourite course and why?
I really like Kõrvemaa Disc golf park, because it demands so much.. the distance and accuracy
Your disc golf bag catches on fire. You can only save 3 discs, What are those discs and why?
Glow Gator, Star Roadrunner and Champion Shryke
What is your favourite disc and why?
I absolutely love my Glow Gators, cause they are so reliable!
What is your favourite throw to play during a round of disc golf?
I don’t use it much, but i really like forehand rollers!
Are you part of a league, if so what is your handicap?
We do weeklies, but we don’t use handicap.
How many times a week do you get to play or do field work?
During summertime i play or practice almost everyday. Wintertime i train inside like twice a week and sometimes outside
The discs that you regularly bag are they all one manufacturer or a mix bag?
I’m in Team DiscSport in Estonia, so i can only use Innova and Discmania discs. Mostly i use Star or S-line plastic
Do you have any superstitions or quirks when on the course. Such as like flipping your disc or special hat?
I had a Nate Sexton pin, but i lost it, so sometimes i rubbed it for the good luck .
What do you love about disc golf?
I love disc golf, because you can find so many new friends and i love outdoor sports
What part of disc golf do you find the most challenging?
Definitely mental game

If you could change anything about disc golf what would it be?
In Estonia disc golf is huge! So i wish that it becomes so popular that if you travel somewhere there is a disc golf park! And ofcourse i wish that PRO’s would earn more
If given the chance how would you grow the sport of disc golf?
We are already introducing it to kids and also our family members. It always begins with you.
If you could play any course in the world, what would that course be and who are the other three players on your card?
I would play in Konopiště. Other three players would be Nate Sexton, Kona Panis and Paige Pierce
What’s your embarrassing disc golf story?
Well.. it’s always embarrassing to miss those 10 ft putts, but like a month ago i sprained my ankle by doing jump putt. So basically everyone said that it’s even hard to put disc golf and injury in a same sentence.. Video is available in my IG account. That hurt.
What advice would you give to a new player starting out?
Be patient and enjoy! It’s really hard to enjoy a game if you only think about winning your friends.
